Service Agreement

Service Agreement

Last updated: October 22, 2026

This agreement explains how we work together. By paying an invoice or telling us in writing (email or text is fine) that you'd like to get started, you agree to these terms. "Top the Map," "we" and "us" means Top the Map of San Diego, California. "You" means the business that hires us.

1. What we do

We provide the services in the plan you choose, as described on our pricing section or in the quote we send you:

Anything outside your plan, like extra pages or extra locations, we'll quote before we start.

2. What we need from you

3. Payment

4. No guaranteed rankings

Google decides who shows up and in what order, and it changes how it does that often. We do the work that helps profiles rank and keeps them active, but we can't promise a specific position, number of calls, or results by a certain date.

5. Playing by Google's rules

We follow Google's Business Profile guidelines and will not do anything that puts your profile at risk. That means no fake or paid reviews, no offering discounts or gifts for reviews, no only asking happy customers, and no keyword stuffing your business name. If we're asked to do something that breaks those rules, we'll say no. Google can suspend or limit any profile at any time, and we'll help you fix it if that happens, but we're not responsible for Google's decisions.

6. You own your stuff

Your Google Business Profile, reviews, domain name and business information always belong to you. You can remove our access whenever you like. Website files we build for you are yours once they're paid for. Photos and posts we create for your profile are yours to keep.

7. Privacy

We keep your business information private and only use it to do the work you hired us for. Our privacy policy has the details.

8. Limits

We work hard to get things right, but if something goes wrong, the most we're responsible for is the amount you paid us in the three months before the problem happened. We're not responsible for lost profits or for problems caused by Google, other platforms, or information you gave us.

9. Ending our work together

Either of us can end a monthly plan at any time by email or text. We can also stop work if a payment is overdue or if we're asked to do something against Google's rules. When we're done, we'll remove ourselves as a manager on your profile if you'd like.

10. Changes and the fine print

If we update these terms, we'll post the new version here and change the date at the top. California law applies, and any dispute will be handled in San Diego County.
