Top the Map ("we," "us") helps local businesses set up and improve their Google Business Profiles. This policy explains what information we collect through topthemap.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and in plain English.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a free audit or contact us, we collect what you type into the form: your name, email address, business name, city and state, the service you're interested in, and any message you include. If you call, text or email us, we keep that conversation and your contact details.
Client information. If you hire us, you may add us as a manager on your Google Business Profile or share business details, photos and logins for directory listings. We use that only to do the work you asked for.
Basic website analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they view. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
How we use your information

- To provide, manage and report on the services you sign up for
- To send you information you asked for, and the occasional follow-up about your request
- To keep the website running, secure and working well
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Service providers we use
We rely on a few trusted companies to run the site and our business. They only handle your information to provide their service to us:
- Web3Forms processes audit and contact form submissions and delivers them to our inbox.
- Cloudflare hosts the website and provides privacy-friendly visitor analytics.
- Google provides our email and phone service, the fonts on this site, and the Google Business Profile platform we work in.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep information
We keep audit requests and client records for as long as we need them to serve you and keep normal business records, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we have about you, or to stop contacting you. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and we will not treat you differently for using them. To make a request, email us at the address below. We may need to confirm your identity first.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on this site. No method of sending or storing data online is 100% secure, but we take care with what you share.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here and change the date at the top.
